Grammar differences that matter
Korean usually places the verb near the end. Particles mark roles, subjects or objects can be omitted when context is clear, and speech level changes endings and vocabulary. Start with the polite -요 style.
Culture, politeness & local speech
Korean politeness is built into endings, honorific vocabulary and titles. Start with -요 forms for strangers and everyday service situations. Casual 반말 is for appropriate close relationships, not a universal “local” shortcut.
Choose the speed you need for each phrase
Every phrase has four playback choices right beside it: Neutral, Slow, Slower and Slowest. Replay any speed as often as you need; there is no separate repeat control.
